            We always have grey Romney rovings available.  Our sheep do not like to felt so please don’t plan on wet felting any great quantities!

            My first interest in fiber was the spinning of yarn.  I still prefer to spin over any other fiber art.  I sample spin all my fibers, if you have any questions about spinning any of my fibers please ask!

Sheep wool ;

            $1.75 an ounce for rovings from adult fiber

            $2.00 an ounce for lamb’s wool rovings

             $8.00 a pound raw fleece

Penny- easiest to spin, soft

Blackie- short staple, very bouncy

Other Ewe- less crimp then the others, silver in color

Maize- least soft, good for durable outer wear and rugs

Tea- wonderful stuff-blend with Angora for soft as a cloud fiber blend

Current Ram- Soft and crimpy

Lambs Wool- sheared in fall for best quality, color, and type
