She is two years old. Still one of the friendliest sheep we have. She has nice wool, but it looks to be turning grey rapidly. Her lamb fleece was chocolate and crimpy. I think this years fleece will have far more silver in it and be more wavy. The proud mother of her first lamb and our only ram lamb.
Tammy; Finn X Romney
Ewe: She is black with variegated silver highlights in her fleece. She looks chocolate black from the outside, but if you part her fiber you see a nice subtle range of colors. It will be fun spinning her fleece as the years go by. It should be different each year. Tammy lost her twin lambs this year, but is recovering nicely. She is for sale as a non breeding fiber ewe. She is two years old.
Maizy; Romney Katadin Cross: Her first clip was very fine and black. Now that she is older her fiber is heavier and more than half silver. Beautiful color but not for next to the skin wear. Easy to spin, makes great hard wearing items like rugs and slipper bottoms. She has a large single lamb that is fast growing of either black or white. This year she had one black ewe.

Finn Romney Ewe: I blended her first clip with Angora fiber, it was heavenly! Her fiber is soft, fine and easy to spin. She had one black lamb her first year, and twins the next few. This year Tea had triplet ewe lambs. All with markings on their faces and black wool.
Dark black with a very dense fleece. Her fiber is very bouncy. She has very correct lambs. So far she has only had singles, but she was a triplet out of a long line of multiple births. Hopefully next year she will have twins. She is friendly and her spring lamb is named Velvet due to her supper soft black fleece. Yup! she had twins this year:) Both black girls and as nice as can be!
Ram: For sale... I have kept too many of his daughters. He is the perfect ram and won second in this years fleece show.
My current ram and sire to this years lamb crop is a ¾ Romney and ¼ Finn. Black/ chocolate/ silver, in color, nicely variegated and has a long staple length. He has a very fine crimpy fiber and the sweetest temperament.
He will be the herd sire this year. He is an older gentleman, but has an outstanding personality. At 7 years old he has kept his sooty black color very well.
